Blockchain Basics
What is the Quranium blockchain? The Quranium blockchain is a decentralized network designed for efficient, quantum-secure, and scalable applications, leveraging QRN as its native coin.
What is a block? A block is a data structure that stores transaction records. Blocks are linked together to form the blockchain.
What is a transaction? A transaction is the movement of QRN coins recorded on the blockchain. It involves the transfer of unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs) from one address to another, with corresponding outputs created as new UTXOs. Transactions also include the transaction fee, and may either be a regular transfer or a coinbase transaction (for miners). Each transaction is validated and included in a block.
How is a block mined on Quranium? Blocks on Quranium are mined using a Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, where miners validate transactions and mine new blocks.
What is a wallet address? A wallet address is a unique identifier for sending or receiving QRN coins.
Searching on QRN Scan
How do I search for a transaction? Enter the transaction hash (TX ID) in the search bar and press "Enter." The transaction details will be displayed.
How do I find a specific block? Enter the block number in the search bar and press "Enter" to view its details.
How can I look up a wallet address? Enter the wallet address in the search bar to view its balance, transaction history, and coin holdings.
Transactions
What is a transaction hash (TX ID)? A transaction hash is a unique identifier assigned to each transaction on the blockchain.
How can I verify if my transaction is successful? Search for the transaction hash on QRN Scan. If the status shows "Success," your transaction is complete.
What does "pending" mean for a transaction? "Pending" indicates that the transaction has been broadcast to the network and is waiting to be included in a block. The transaction will remain in the mempool until it meets the minimum fee requirement and is processed by a miner.
Can I cancel a pending transaction? No, once a transaction is submitted to the QRN network, it cannot be canceled. Transactions are added to the mempool and must meet the minimum transaction fee to be processed. Make sure to double-check all details before submitting to avoid any issues.
How are transaction fees calculated? Transaction fees are determined by the size of the transaction (in bytes) and the current network conditions. QRN uses a fixed minimum transaction fee to ensure timely processing. Transactions with fees lower than the minimum will remain in the mempool until a sufficient fee is provided.
Wallets
How do I create a Quranium wallet? Download QSafe Wallet to create a wallet address.
Can I see my wallet’s QRN coins balance on QRN Scan? Yes, QRN Scan displays the QRN coin balances for any wallet address.
What is a QRN coin? QRN is the native cryptocurrency of the Quranium blockchain, used for transactions and network fees.
How can I send QRN coins? Use a QSafe wallet to initiate QRN coin transfer by entering the recipient’s wallet address and amount.
Is my wallet address private? No, wallet addresses are publicly visible on the blockchain. However, they do not reveal personal information unless disclosed by the user.
Troubleshooting
Why isn’t my transaction showing up? Ensure the transaction was broadcasted to the network and wait for confirmations. It may take a few seconds.
What does "transaction execution failed" mean? This error occurs when the transaction conditions are not met or an error is encountered during execution.
Why does my wallet balance show zero? Ensure that the wallet address entered is correct and that it holds QRN coins.
Why can’t I find a block? Double-check the block number entered. It’s possible the block hasn’t been mined yet.
How do I report incorrect data? Contact our support team at [email protected] with details about the issue.
Security
Is QRN Scan secure to use? Yes, QRN Scan is a read-only platform and does not store private keys or sensitive information.
How do I protect my wallet address? Do not share your private keys or sensitive details with anyone.
